The former New York State Multiple Systems Navigator offered access to helpful health, education, human service and disability information on one user-friendly website with the goal of providing easily accessible resources and service information to assist youth, parents, family members/caregivers, and front-line staff navigate multiple human service systems.
In the summer of 2024, the New York State Council on Children and Families (CCF) relaunched the Multiple Systems Navigator as Help Hub for Families by building on the many strengths of the Multiple Systems Navigator. The Help Hub for Families aims to connect parents and caregivers to information that is digestible and useful by connecting them to trusted state resources based on identified areas of interest and highlights service location tools by directing users to existing service mapping resources and new mapping resources developed by CCF.
CCF’s Mission is to strengthen New York State’s systems of care through cross-agency collaborations. Positioned as a neutral body, CCF provides coordination between New York’s health, education, and human services systems and facilitates the development of state and local service systems that are coordinated, strength-based, prevention-oriented, and responsive to the needs of children and families. CCF compiles resources and convenes agencies to connect children and families to critical support. CCF resolves disputes, collaborates with partners to streamline processes and coordinate across government agencies. Together with their partners, CCF is bettering the way New York serves its children and families.
